Release: Bubbling Library 1.50 - April 22, 2008

2008-04-22

*** version 1.50 *** (Tested over YUI 2.5.1)

This release synchronizes the SourceForge version with Bubbling Library -- version number 1.50.

This release is focused in the correction of a series of bugs and optimization and the inclusion of new examples. This is the most stable version ever.

The following components are updated with this release:

   * Bubbling Core: Improving the decoupling support. Read more here:
     http://yuiblog.com/blog/2008/04/22/caridy-decoupling/

   * Dispatcher: Integration with the YUI Get Utility to load external sources. Introducing a new pipeline to allow redefinition of the eval routine (now you can use your own method to execute inline script). Integration with the loading mask.

   * Wizard: Full integration with the Dispatcher, now support Tabview Delegation like the dispatcher does. Integration with the loading mask.

   * Loading Mask: Solving the issue with the Flash Components on body resize. Including new pipelines for AJAX routine.

NOTA: All the components' names updated will keep the backward compatibility name until the next major release v2.0.

Also, this release comes with an update of the list of official examples, and every control and plugin of the bubbling library ships with a series of examples that illustrate its implementation. These examples can serve as starting points for your exploration of the Bubbling Library, as code snippets to get you started in your own programming. Also, you can navigate through the API documentation, and you will be able to explore these examples component-by-component; on this page you'll find the full index of library examples with a link to and short description of each one.

Finally I got some time to review all the comments in the source code to generate the full API documentation based on YUI Docs, check the new documentation here. (new)

Accordion implementation to YUI 3.x
I spent some time creating a new plugin for YUI 3.x to implement the accordion features. Hopefully, this new plugin will be included within YUI 3.1 amoung other widgets and plugins. (hot)
